Year End Christmas Offering

As we approach the end of the year there is no better investment than your local church. Every dollar given is used to make a difference in our community and around the world! Specifically this year we are excited highlight our new Adoption Ministry, Strawbridge Campus, and Norfolk improvements.

The Grace Adoption Fund exists to support and resource families who are called to adopt either domestically or internationally, or to provide foster care. Adopting a child can be an overwhelming and expensive experience. Our GBC Adoption team exists to support families in all phases of the process from choosing an agency to adapting to life with a new child.

The Strawbridge Campus is a strategic opportunity for GBC to continue to expand our reach with the life changing news of Jesus in our community.  While most of the residential growth in Virginia Beach is happening in the southern part of the city, the number of new churches to reach this part of Hampton Roads is severely lacking.  This property will provide a launching point for the Gospel, reaching thousands of people who have not yet heard the Good News.

Our Norfolk Campus has increased in attendance over 25% in the past year!  We are excited to invest in our Norfolk community through some needed capital improvements as we manage the excitement and tension created by this growth. When we launched Norfolk as a part of our 1:8 Campaign we had no idea all that God would do, but we are excited about how his grace is changing lives and the chance to further invest in this physical space.

You can give online here (choose the 'Year End Christmas Offering' Fund), or feel free to drop a check in the offering on Sunday.  This gift is tax deductible.

No Services on New Years Eve

Did you know that it takes 100s of volunteers to make our services on Sunday happen?  This year we’re excited to give all of our volunteers a chance to spend time with their families enjoying a unique New Years Eve experience.

In lieu of physical services, our staff team has prepared a wonderful New Years Eve service for you to participate in online.  We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to start the year on the right foot.

Check it out on Sunday, December 31st at
